CAMP SPD | Summer Day Camps 2020

Begins Monday, July 6 | Registration begins Monday, June 15.

Due to COVID-19, our traditional offering of Summer Camps that many children have enjoyed through the Streamwood Park District will not be offered this summer. CAMP SPD is our 2020 version of Summer Day Camp that will exist within the guidelines of the Restore Illinois Plan set forth by state and health officials.

All camps will take place at Park Place Family Recreation Center or Hoosier Grove Park over the entire course of the camps (5 weeks). Our camps will include many of the features you love, including well-planned activities led by our experienced and enthusiastic staff. Due to the safety guidelines, there will be no field trips or pool trips during our camps. We will, however, ensure that our staff of energetic counselors create a fun, safe, and interactive experience for all of our campers.

All camps will be held outdoors as much as possible. With no field trips, camp activities will include games with physical distancing, arts and crafts, exercise, games, and more.
