REGISTRATION OPENS MONDAY, MARCH 14

Children in the Building Block Preschool Program will learn through play, as they are taught skills to aid in the development of creativity and their educational and emotional well-being by qualified and caring instructors. The curriculum is geared to make sure that students are taught skills needed prior to entering Kindergarten. Our staff, with a student/instructor ratio of 10:1, works with and attends educational workshops held by School District U-46.

The focus of this program is to provide hands-on/center-based activities that foster fine motor skills to enhance pre-writing skills, promote socialization, and introduce letter/number recognition. Large motor skills are enhanced through music and movement activities that also encourage following directions and listening skills. My daughter attended 3-year-old and 4-year-old preschool programs. She loved it and all the teachers she had. It was an amazing program and prepared her for kindergarten.

All four of my children attended Building Block Preschool. They all absolutely loved it! Even with the pandemic, my twins were able to resume an almost normal school year. The teachers work so hard to make sure they are ready for elementary school.

Julie D.

My son attended the 3-year-old program and absolutely loved it! He had wonderful teachers and was challenged in every class.
