UPDATED: ADDITIONAL CONFIRMED CORONAVIRUS CASES IN STREAMWOOD

Since our last update on the morning of Thursday, April 2, there have been additional confirmed cases of the coronavirus in Streamwood.

CORONAVIRUS PREVENTION

The health and safety of our park district participants and staff is a top priority at the Streamwood Park District. Media reports surrounding the Coronavirus and its potential impact on the United States continue to circulate widely. In light of these reports, we wanted to share information with you about communicable disease prevention, planning and reporting at our park district.

We will continue to work closely with our area health and education departments and will share important information with you as it becomes available.

SPRING/SUMMER PROGRAM GUIDE

But if you’re more comfortable reading a paper copy, you can expect to have one in your mailbox on Friday, February 28.

Registration for all spring and summer programs, events, and classes begins on Saturday, March 7.

Get in the Holiday Spirit with some group fitness activities! Join in on some of the special things we are doing for the holidays!

ActivKidz Club Winter Break Camp

Don’t let cabin fever get the best of your children over winter break! Play games, go on field trips, swim at the pool, and more with the ActivKidz Club’s Winter Break Camp! Registration deadline is December 12!

Santa’s Storytime Express

Sunday, December 15
All aboard! Santa’s Storytime Express is headed to the North Pole! You can embark on an adventure to meet Santa at the North Pole, while singing Christmas Carols and eating some holiday treats on the way there! Be sure to get your tickets well in advance to ensure your ride on the train!

Breakfast with Santa

Saturday, December 7 | 10-11:30 am
Bring your family out to enjoy some breakfast basics and time with Santa. There will be coloring, crafts, goodies, and time with the “Big Guy” himself.

Holiday in Whoville

Friday, December 20 | 5:30-7p & 7:30-9p
The cultural arts staff will be performing Holiday in Whoville: How the Grinch Stole Christmas as a fundraiser for the Theater Program! Tickets include pizza, cookie decorating, and a raffle ticket.

Elf on the Shelf

Wed, November 27 | 10-11:30 am
Join us while we introduce Tinsel, the Streamwood Park District Elf on the Shelf. Play games, and enjoy a snack while we read Elf on the Shelf.

Golden Agers Senior Club

Memberships for the Golden Agers Senior Club is $22 for the year! If you are not a member but would like to attend one of our events, the cost is $3 per person.
