Disney Channel’s smash hit movie musical comes to life on your stage in Disney’s High School Musical JR. Now updated to the convenient binder version! Troy, Gabriella, and the students of East High must deal with issues of love, friends, and family while balancing their classes and extracurricular activities. The show’s infectious, danceable songs are sure to engage performers and audiences alike.

Participants will learn stage blocking and projection, as well as music and movement for the stage. Participants are responsible for their own line memorization. All participants must commit to being present at every rehearsal during tech week and each scheduled performance; is TBD but will be in March Participants should not miss more than three scheduled rehearsals during the general rehearsal period.

Auditions: December 14th & 16th

What to expect at Auditions:
– Warm-ups
– Quick games
– Singing, Lines, and dance Auditions

Must come prepared with a short song for the singing portion. Students must bring dance shoes or gym shoes for the dance portion.

Rehearsals will take place on Monday & Wednesday this winter.
