Monday, May 11, 2026 marks the 30th Anniversary of Park Place Family Recreation Center’s official grand opening to the Streamwood community. To celebrate, from May through August the Streamwood Park District is offering some deep discounts and other specials to our patrons as we roll back the clock to the Summer of ’96!
Monthly $1.96 Drop-In Days (May-August)
Beginning in May, the first and third Wednesdays of each month will feature $1.96 drop-in pricing for fitness, aquatics, and group fitness. We’ll also have 90s music playing in the fitness center on those days.

Free Open Swim Days (May-August)
Also beginning in May, we will offer free open swim to the public at the Park Place Aquatic Center on the third Friday of each month through August.

During Free Fitness Week from June 29-July 3, select classes will feature a fun 90’s theme, including:

Join us for our Summer Flick & Float feature at the Park Place Aquatic Center 6-8:30 p.m. Friday, July 31 where kids and families can enjoy the pool while watching a family-friendly film!
