Current conditions allow for the following types of play per sport risk level:
Low-Risk
Play at Levels 1, 2, and 3
Youth Outdoor Soccer
Due to the lower risk of outdoor soccer, Level 3 play is allowed. This means games and intra-conference or intra-EMS-region or intra-league play/meets only. This means that Outdoor Soccer this Spring will be participating again in our normal Inter-village Soccer program. And our younger divisions of U6 and U8 will have the normal schedule of games. All spectators will be asked to socially distance themselves along the exterior of the field. And coaches/players will remain on their own side during gameplay.
Youth Volleyball
Due to the lower risk of the Youth Volleyball Level 3 play is allowed. This means games and intra-conference or intra-EMS-region or intra-league play/meets only. This means that Youth Volleyball this Spring will be participating again in our normal Intervillage Volleyball program. All participants and spectators will need to wear masks at all times. Coronavirus guidelines allow for a maximum of 25 participants and 25 spectators so all players will be limited to one spectator socially distance on the bleachers. All others who wish to watch scrimmages may go to our Facebook Page.
Medium-Risk
Play at Levels 1 and 2
Youth Indoor Soccer
Indoor Soccer is now allowed to begin the winter program in February under Level 2 play. This will include no contact practices and Intra-team scrimmages (with parental consent). Scrimmages will be held on alternating Saturdays at Park Place with schedules located at www.spdathletics.com.
All participants and spectators will need to wear masks at all times. Coronavirus guidelines allow for a maximum of 25 participants and 25 spectators so all players will be limited to one spectator socially distance on the bleachers. All others who wish to watch scrimmages may go to our Facebook Page.
Youth Flag Football
At this time, we are not permitted to host official games and will instead host intra-squad scrimmages. Flag Football will include limited scrimmages while staying within the maximum capacity for large gatherings. Scrimmages will be held on alternating Saturdays and parents will be asked to social distance throughout the field. Masks are encouraged, however, once you and your group are socially distant from other groups you may remove your masks.
Basketball
