Columbia 7 Park sits on 2.89 acres of land, located at 128 Rosewood Drive. This park allows guests to enjoy scenic views of nature on its walking and biking pathway. There are 2.14 miles of Village of Streamwood and Streamwood Park District paths directly connected to Columbia 7 Park. This park also features two shelters with picnic tables for your enjoyment. 

What’s in a name?

The land for Columbia 7 Park was acquired by Streamwood Park District in 2001 and was originally known as Sterling Oaks Park. The park was renamed Columbia 7 Park in 2003 as this park was dedicated to the memory of the astronaut lives lost in the Columbia Space Shuttle Mission on February 1, 2003.
