Dance Ensemble is for the more serious dancer who is looking for more opportunities to perform and to enhance their skills in different dance styles. If accepted, these dancers will practice once a week for 90 minutes and must be enrolled in one regular dance academy class as well.

This is a whole-year commitment, and dancers will need to attend rehearsals each week. Be prepared to learn dance combinations in ballet and jazz. More complex dance movements in Ballet, Lyrical, and Jazz will be worked on in weekly group rehearsals.

The ensemble will perform in different community events throughout the year and will have two dances in the end-of-the-year recital. Dance Ensemble may also perform in the annual production of “The Nutcracker” ballet in December. This ensemble is for dancers not enrolled in our Starlights dance team.
