COVID Sports Safety Guidance from the Illinois Department of Public Health

This guidance pertains to all youth and adult recreational sports, including, but not limited to: school-based sports (IHSA & IESA), travel clubs, private leagues and clubs, recreational leagues and centers, and park
district sports programs.

In order to abide by the safety precautions, we will be staying up to date with the current guidelines from the State of Illinois. The most important thing is to remain safe and we will continue to monitor the recommendations from
the Governor.

Current conditions allow for the following types of play per sport risk level:

Low-Risk

Play at Levels 1, 2, and 3

Youth Outdoor Soccer

Due to the lower risk of outdoor soccer, Level 3 play is allowed. This means games and intra-conference or intra-EMS-region or intra-league play/meets only. This means that Outdoor Soccer this Spring will be participating again in our normal Inter-village Soccer program. And our younger divisions of U6 and U8 will have the normal schedule of games. All spectators will be asked to socially distance themselves along the exterior of the field. And coaches/players will remain on their own side during gameplay.

Youth Volleyball

Due to the lower risk of the Youth Volleyball Level 3 play is allowed. This means games and intra-conference or intra-EMS-region or intra-league play/meets only. This means that Youth Volleyball this Spring will be participating again in our normal Intervillage Volleyball program. All participants and spectators will need to wear masks at all times. Coronavirus guidelines allow for a maximum of 25 participants and 25 spectators so all players will be limited to one spectator socially distance on the bleachers. All others who wish to watch scrimmages may go to our Facebook Page.
