The Streamwood Park District was recently awarded funding through DuPage County Health Department’s (DCHD) Protect Swimmers 10M (PS10M) Community Awareness Initiative, to offer five free weekly swim lessons for up to twenty preschool aged kids (ages 3–5 years-old.)

Lessons are broken up by weeks and run Monday-Friday from 12:30-1 p.m. through August 30 at the Park Place Aquatic Center, 550 S. Park Blvd., with a maximum of four participants per week.

Space is limited! Interested families should contact Streamwood Park District Superintendent of Recreation Adam Vasquez at avasquez@spdcares.com to verify eligibility.

Priority will be given to families who qualify for financial assistance (WIC, free/reduced lunch programs, etc.)
