LITTER LEAGUE
WHO ARE WE?
The Streamwood Park District Litter League is a volunteer program made up of residents, staff, and community partners that promote conservation in the Streamwood community.
WHAT IS OUR MISSION?
We hope to empower our neighbors and friends to help pick up litter and trash in and around Streamwood, while also educating on important environmental topics like recycling, plastic use, composting, and keeping our waterways and oceans clean and healthy!

ENVIRONMENTAL RESOURCE FAIR
We attended Cook County Commissioner Kevin Morrison’s Environmental Education Day held at Rahlf’s Woods on September 26 and debuted the Litter League.
Attendees were educated on the harm plastics can have in our oceans and waterways, and the importance of reducing our plastic footprint.
50 FREE litter pickers were handed out to attendees, encouraging them to pick up any litter they see while in and around Streamwood to prevent litter from ending up along US roads waterways.
DID YOU KNOW???
