On Sept. 14, Officer Collin Klein and Detective Mary Kosartes from the Streamwood Police Department, along with K-9’s Scout and Hope, as well as K-9 units from other law enforcement agencies from across the suburbs gathered on the grounds of the Streamwood Park District’s Ian’s Farm property, 360 W. Schaumburg Rd., to conduct K-9 training.
The purpose of this training was for Police K-9 maintenance, which includes obedience, drug work, building searches, article searches, and tracking. The training was led by TOPS Kennels of Grayslake.
“We were proud to collaborate with the Streamwood Police Department and these police agencies to make this training possible,” said Executive Director Jeff Janda.
