The temperatures are warming up and the Streamwood Park District’s 2023 summer season of events is straight fire!

Here’s some of the sizzling summer special events you can look forward to this summer:

Summer Concert Series
Hoosier Grove Park, 700 W. Irving Park Road

Circle of Fifths – Thursday, July 6, 7-8:30 p.m.
Wait, What? – Thursday, August 10, 7-8:30 p.m.

Our FREE 2023 Summer Concert Series in Hoosier Grove Park, 700 W. Irving Park Rd., continues at 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 6 and Thursday, August 10. Bring chairs or a blanket and sit out under the sunset while listening to some great live music.

Circle of Fifths is a band from suburban Chicago that performs some of the best dance, party and classic rock hits. Their song list combines classic rock hits along with danceable party tune favorites. For more information about the band, visit www.circleoffifthsmusic.com.

Join our Building Block Preschool Staff for this FREE monthly event in our parks, featuring outdoor games, crafts, group activities and so much fun! Plus special guest police officers from the DARE program, Hope the Comfort K-9 dog, and some of our firefighters.

Touch-A-Truck
Saturday, August 5, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Park Place Family Recreation Center parking lot, 550 S. Park Blvd.

Children and adults of all ages will have truckloads of fun during our Touch-A-Truck event from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, August 5 in the parking lot of Park Place Family Recreation Center in partnership with RUSH Physical Therapy, 550 S. Park Blvd. This FREE family event allows you to interact with vehicles in all shapes and sizes. Come take photos with fire engines, police cars, park district vehicles and more.
