The Streamwood Park District’s Summer Kickoff takes place at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 7 at Rahlf’s Woods Park, 1300 S. Park Blvd.
Kids can enjoy a 65 foot Max Challenge obstacle course, foam machine, games, prizes and more. A fire truck from the Streamwood Fire Department will be available for kids to take photos with and touch. Meet and greet Streamwood Police Department DARE Officers, participate in games and giveaways with U-46 Give Me 5 and Poplar Creek Library, and enjoy a performance from the Starlights Dancers at 6:30 p.m. Craft fair vendors will also be selling various artisan goods.
The first 120 people in attendance will receive free hotdogs, popcorn and water. Ice cream will also be available for purchase.
