On Thursday, April 27, the Streamwood Park District welcomed 8 Streamwood High School students to Park Place Family Recreation Center in partnership with RUSH Physical Therapy, 550 S. Park Blvd. for Student Government Day.
Each student got the opportunity to shadow staff members in various departments, ask questions about careers in public services, and get a first hand look at how the park district and local government works.
