Due to the impending severe winter weather that is forecast for the area, the Streamwood Park District has elected to take the following precautions for this weekend out of an abundance of caution:
– Thursday, Dec. 22: Park Place Family Rec Center will close at 5 p.m., Community Center will be closed
– Friday, Dec. 23: ALL PARK DISTRICT FACILITIES WILL BE CLOSED
– Saturday, Dec. 24: Park Place Family Rec Center will open from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. **
– Sunday, Dec. 25: ALL PARK DISTRICT FACILITIES WILL BE CLOSED (Christmas Day holiday)
** Subject to change depending on winter storm severity
