Sunny Hill Park Splash Pad

Park Place Family Recreation Center in partnership with RUSH Physical Therapy, 550 S. Park Blvd., will be closed to the public from 5:15 a.m. until 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24 due to a scheduled power outage from ComEd. All classes and programming during this time will be canceled.

During the closure, Park Place members will be able to utilize the Bartlett Park District’s Community Center, 700 S. Bartlett Rd. in Bartlett. Splash Central Indoor Pool’s lap swim hours on Fridays are 5:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. (unguarded) and 4-7:30 p.m. (guarded). LIFECENTER Health & Fitness Club’s hours on Fridays are 5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The Streamwood Park District apologizes for the inconvenience and short notice of the closure as we have no control over the scheduling by ComEd. The building should fully reopen to the public after 4 p.m.

RUSH Physical Therapy’s office on the lower level will be open to the public during this time. RUSH patrons must enter through the lower level entrance on the east side of the building.

This scheduled power outage is part of the ongoing rooftop solar installation project taking place at the facility – one of several exciting projects happening over the next couple months designed to improve guests’ overall experience at Park Place. Other upcoming projects include the installation of new partitions in the locker rooms and the repair of the elevator.
