Bring your family out to Park Place Family Recreation Center, 550 S. Park Blvd., from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 5, to enjoy some pizza and quality time with Santa. There will be coloring, crafts, goodies and a photo opportunity with the big guy himself and the Grinch! Be sure to bring a camera. Dough-Ho-Ho registration is available online. You must enter all participants’ information. Families who wish to be seated together must indicate who you want to be seated with at the time of registration. Food will be served family style at each table.

2 and under free (if they sit on an adult’s lap)

The Streamwood Park District and the Streamwood Dance Ensemble proudly present the annual performance of The Nutcracker! This performance takes place 12 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6 at Streamwood High School Auditorium. Come celebrate the start of the holiday season and witness the incredible talent of over 40 area dancers as they light up the stage in this timeless masterpiece!

The Streamwood Park District invites you to take a wintery ride through Streamwood on Santa’s sleighs (trolleys). Hop aboard Santa’s magical sleighs and enjoy a sparkling ride through the twinkling lights of Streamwood. Along the way, Santa’s cheerful elves will share heartwarming holiday stories to keep the spirit bright. Our journey ends at the enchanting “Snow Globe Grove” Barn and Santa’s Winterland, where the holiday magic truly comes alive as we await the big guy’s grand arrival. Lights, laughter, and a little bit of North Pole magic – it’s a winter adventure you won’t want to miss.

Letters to Santa
We also invite all local kids to write their Letters to Santa between Dec. 1-15 and deposit them in one of our three Santa mailboxes located at:

All children who write a letter to Santa and deposit the letter in one of the Streamwood Park District’s Santa mailboxes by Dec. 15 will receive a reply directly from the North Pole! Please address your child’s letter to:
