Closures Due to Severe Weather

As of 2:20 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14 the Splash Pad in Sunny Hill Park, 1480 W. Irving Park Rd., has reopened and all other Park District facilities are operating as normal. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Crews are currently working on clean-up of storm damage. The first priority is any safety-related clean-up of parks and facilities. Residents can report any parks related storm damage issues to the Parks hotline at (630) 483-3134.

With heat indexes expected to top 100 degrees today and tomorrow (June 15), the Streamwood Park District has designated Park Place Family Recreation Center, 550 S. Park Blvd., a cooling center for the community. If you are without power after yesterday’s storms or just need a place to cool off, make Park Place your place to chill out.
