Starting Saturday, August 15, all dugouts at all Streamwood Park District ballfields will be closed to enforce Restore Illinois’s Lower Risk Guidelines.
Barriers have been installed at entry points of the dugouts.
Our dugouts do not allow for proper social distancing of players sitting at least 6 feet apart. It is in the Park District’s best interest to close the dugouts to maintain a DCEO “Lower Risk – Level 3 Play Level” for baseball and softball. Please read the DCEO All Sports Policy here or below for more information on the Phase 4 Plans.
Rentals are still available as of July 1. Specific procedures must be followed by rental groups regarding group size(s) and social distancing guidelines.
